This one-day symposium is dedicated to exploring the mechanisms of gene regulation, with a particular emphasis on the regulation of transcription by enhancers. The two plenary speakers will offer complementary perspectives and expertise of strong interest to the BioLuM and broader Montpellier scientific communities. I. Cissé uses imaging and biophysical approaches to study transcriptional regulation, while C. Buecker combines functional genomics and synthetic biology methods to investigate enhancer logic during early development.
The program will include ten presentation slots for selected speakers from Montpellier, with priority given to PhD students and postdoctoral researchers, as well as contributions from 2 local principal investigators. A dedicated session will be organized to promote discussion and interaction between participants and the two plenary speakers.
