This one-day symposium is dedicated to exploring the mechanisms of gene regulation, with a particular emphasis on the regulation of transcription by enhancers. The two plenary speakers will offer complementary perspectives and expertise of strong interest to the BioLuM and broader Montpellier scientific communities. I. Cissé uses imaging and biophysical approaches to study transcriptional regulation, while C. Buecker combines functional genomics and synthetic biology methods to investigate enhancer logic during early development.
The program will include six (6) presentation slots selected upon abstract submission, with priority given to PhD students and postdoctoral researchers from Montpellier, as well as contributions from 3 local principal investigators. A dedicated session will be organized to promote discussion and interaction between participants and the two plenary speakers at the end of the day.
